Hi everyone. A few of you mentioned that it was difficult to follow comment threads on posts because of the nested replies. Agreed that this can get confusing, especially on busy posts with lots of comments.
I'm slightly limited by the third party platform that our community hub runs on, but I've sourced a piece of custom code that hides the 'reply' button on comments, effectively creating a linear comments structure.
This won't affect any posts that already have replies, as you'll still see all the nested comments. But if you would like to respond directly to comments from another user, you will now need to use the @ tag to mention them.
I thought I would put this out for you all to test. Please report back and tell me what you think!
