CXN100 crashes when listening to a mixed Qobuz, Tidal, and Deezer playlist.Beta version 4.4.0 search not working -
Hello, this is my first time here, and I still don't quite understand how to write here. I hope I'm in the right place now; I'd like to describe my problem. My CXN100 crashes when I listen to a mixed playlist from Qobuz, Deezer, and Tidal, and deletes everything in the process. Has anyone else experienced this? Beta version 4.4.0, yes, I had to uninstall it because the search function didn't work, not even with Tidal, Qobuz, or Deezer. Why release something like this if it doesn't work? I'm using a CXN100. 11

Multipoint Connection Management in Melomania Connect
We’ve heard from many of you that switching between devices on your headphones is not always as smooth as it could be, so we’re adding a new multipoint connection management feature to the Melomania Connect App for A100, P100 and P100 SE.
Why we’re adding this
Multipoint allows you to stay connected to two devices at once. The new in-app controls will give you clearer visibility of what is (and has been) connected to make it easier to switch between source devices. This will make daily use, such as moving from laptop to phone, much more seamless.
What to expect
This update will roll out to the Melomania Connect App and firmware upgrade later this year. Once live, you will be able to see your connected devices via the app and control which devices are connected to your headphones.
We’d love your input
How do you currently use multipoint? Are there particular situations where switching devices is more difficult? Share your experiences in the comments so we can focus improvements where they matter most.
Are there any plans to implement the Bluetooth "pull" functionality? This feature doesn't work when LDAC is enabled, and I'm not able to switch devices even if I put my A100 into pairing mode.
Hello, I would like to join the beta program as well. Let's make this product better together! :)
Manually control paired devices within the Melomania Connect app
A few members in the community have expressed the desire to control and switch paired devices within the Melomania Connect app, similar to Sony and Bose's implemenation.
Bose also offers a "pull" option, where manually connecting on a desired device instantly causes it to disconnect from one of its connected devices and connect to the desired device instead. I'm sure this would also be well-received by the community!
Hi Friendly Friend wikiolo and anyone interested. We've officially moved this onto our roadmap. More info below.
Working with more than 3 devices is now a nightmare. Any change would be amazing, the best would be the "pull" option. If a device has been paired in the past, it can request a connection at the expense of other connected devices.
Introducing Evo 300
Good morning everyone. Yesterday we announce Evo 300 at High End Vienna. Our flagship streaming amplifier with more composure, scale, and control than ever before.
Evo 300 is built around a fundamentally different architecture to anything we've done in the Evo range before. Here's what you can expect:
Amplification
Dual mono architecture with 300W per channel through Hypex nCOREx modules. Each channel has its own dedicated amplification path, which means a wider, more stable soundstage and greater separation, even in complex music. It's designed to fill larger rooms and drive more demanding speakers with composure.
Pre-amplifier
Fully balanced pre-amplifier stage, running end to end. Lower noise floor, greater channel separation, and a naturally quiet background that lets more of the recording come through.
Volume control
Independent analogue volume control for left, right, and subwoofer channels, operating fully balanced. Unlike systems that rely on digital attenuation, this preserves stereo focus and low-level detail at any listening level.
DAC
Upgraded ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M. Handles up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM without any resampling. Every recording reaches the DAC exactly as it left the studio.
Power supply
Separate, dedicated PSU rather than integrated. Cleaner power delivery and greater signal integrity across the board.
Streaming
Powered by our StreamMagic Gen 4 platform, refined over more than a decade. HDMI eARC replaces ARC for proper TV audio integration. Bluetooth upgraded to 5.4 with aptX HD.
Display
7.8 inches, up from 6.8. Larger physical presence and a more immersive visual experience whether you're using album artwork or VU meters.
The result is a system that sounds more composed, more musical, and more capable than Evo 150 SE.
I've put together a series of videos to introduce you to the product. The first video is live now. More coming over the next few days.
Any questions feel free to drop them in the comments and I will do my best to answer. You can learn more about Evo 300 below.
Cheers!

Great EVOlution. Congrats…
Makes me think about my EVO150… May it be possible to transfer parts, like Subwoofer functions. Will appreciate to see that EVO150 is a kind of life time companion, in continious evolution (even if the world works different)
All the best for the Go2Market
Class D is the future...
I have calculated my yearly use circa 1500 hours, (probably more than most) If an amp pulls 8/900 watts from the wall thats at least 6 or 700 quids worth of electricity. Per year, (7,000 -8500 pounds) over ten years... Plus the unwanted heat in summer.
That is why I bought class D monoblocks which draw a fraction of that, 50 / 80 / 120 watts tottal depending on loudness.
Your AXA tech is GREAT for lower power but you should move your bigger amps into Class D.
One must ask a fundamental question: at what power level is music typically listened to? Depending on the type of music, maximum power output—and consequently maximum power consumption—is reached only a few times during a track, occurring in peaks lasting just a few milliseconds.
I was ready to disagree with you but then realised that my listening dramatically reduces when a heatwave approaches just being I don't want to run the heat box by my desk.
It's a compromise but I get the appeal.
BBC stations on Saturday lunchtime.
Did anyone else lose all BBC stations from around 12pm to 3pm on Saturday? All other stations were working fine, whether from presets or StreamMagic. Using MXN10/AXN10 streamers.
Thanks Liam, as I mentioned, the BBC stations returned at around 3pm. and everything has been working fine since then. I had deleted StreamMagic and reinstalled it, but that did not immediately fix the problem, the BBC stations just suddenly started working again! All other sources were working fine, so I assumed it might be a BBC problem. I was interested enough to ask the question if this is a common occurrence, or the work of aliens😃
I had the same bbc blackout on an MX10. I cleared cache, data, uninstalled, reinstalled and finally updated to beta version. They would not play. Play button unresponsive on the app. BBC working now, some others not.
A to Z down the right side of app for quick access
When using the StreamMagic app would it be possible to have A to Z# down the right hand side of the app when all albums/all artists (this is while using Asset UPnP) have been selected for quicker access to areas? It takes a while to scroll!
Thanks.
I'd vote for this. With a small library of 3000+ albums and 40000+ tracks, anything speed up finding the music that you want will be good.

Version information
StreamMagic app version: 4.4.0 (iOS & Android)
Firmware update: not needed, this release does not include a firmware update.
From my point of view, the app should be simple. Easy to use and intuitive. I'm using it to play albums RIPed from CD collection. I just hit play on the first file of an album then I forget about the phone. I don't like to scroll and spend more time on the phone when I even listen to music. From time to time I'm making a playlist with some favroite traks, on PC, then I save them on the external HDD, that is connected to the CXN. I'm not having anything specific to comment on this beta version, beside the fact that I'm waiting for this version to be available on google play, to see if the browsing library option is fixed.
Meh, still an ugly screen display (with the same, crappy and illegible font and too much spacing between lines - same goes for phone app). But hey, we've released EVO version 300!
Automatically switch off the Evo 150
My de lorean switches itself off by listening via tv after 10 -15 min. I can’t switch on, neither on the Evo nor on the FB. I have to replug from the power, wait a few minutes, than I can switch on the power and the Evo works well. What can I do?
Sorry for my English 🤔
Only by tv, I switched the auto power down off.
After I switched the electric power of the Evo off and one minute later again on it worked well.
Also, if I switched the tv on, the Evo mute is automatically on. I had to switch the muse off to hear sound.
All the problems happened within the last 3/4 weeks.
The tv sound is set to pcm.
If the Evo itself switches off, the light on the Evo is red and I can’t switch it on.
Eberhard our devices have an auto power down setting, that switches the device off after 20 minutes of inactivity.
If the device is receiving a signal, it should not power down.
Does it only do this with the TV, or when listening to music too?
EVO 150 Remote: Presets
Only three presets for radio stations and playlists is really a hard downside in usability of an otherwise excellent and high quality device. Here are two possible solutions which won’t interfere with other buttons and keep the simplicity of the remote.
Use longpush preset button to access 2nd layer (1/4, 2/5, 3/6) - limited to 6 presets and not completely satisfying
Use longpush preset buttons to toggle between ‚standard-mode‘ and ‚scroll-mode‘. In scroll-mode use <1> to scroll down, <3> for up and <2> for enter (if necessary)
Current preset longpush store-function on remote is quite useless since you need the app to find and select the radio station or playlist you want to store. So it can be abandoned.
If current usage must not be changed, then please make enhanced preset method selectable in the preferences menu.
This really is a long-term-annoying issue, which made me think to change to another receiver (I prefer remote to app control).
My english is limited therefore my short telling.
I don’t like using my telephone and prefer the manuel.
Because of the 3 presets I seldom listen to the internet radio anymore.
The skip forward/backward from the cd transporte would be a great progress.
I hope this upgrade is posible.
Three presets are indeed a bit meager, unless you always listen to the same playlists or radio stations... I find it quite annoying to always have to change the settings via the app. Therefore, thumbs up for this suggestion!
