We’re pleased to release an Early Update for Gen 2 and Gen 3 players, addressing some issues you’ve reported with TIDAL playback.
This update includes:
Crash fix - resolved an issue that could cause the app to crash when the queue was loaded repeatedly
Improved TIDAL stability - TIDAL has made improvements to extend the timeout, which may reduce the need to reconnect. A full fix is still pending
Firmware version: 022-a-169
For this release, the update applies only to the player firmware. A general release will follow soon, together with Qobuz Connect.
