I work from home, and the CAX61 is what powers all my music listening. One of the main reasons I chose it is because it supports AirPlay. I work on Apple devices – an iMac, a MacBook Air, an iPad, and an iPhone – and I love the flexibility of being able to stream music from any of these devices. I also have a NAD CD player, and I still like to listen to CDs, and I still even buy some.
I have two listening areas in my home office: for my desk, I use Cambridge Audio Minx MN22 speakers, and opposite a sofa on the side of my office. I have Kef Q350s. To make all the speakers sound good, I also have a Cambridge Audio Minx subwoofer.
I really like how compact yet powerful the Minx speakers are, on the stands behind my desk as you can see in one of the photos. I bought them because I was tired of having larger speakers on my desk getting in the way and distracting me.
There’s a combination of order and chaos in my office, as the photos show.
