Although, some products have EQ adjustments and other firmware updates are rumoured, i'd like to see fully fledged room optimisation software - like DIRAC - available in future products, even if this attratcs a cost.
I've used DIRAC extensively with an ARCAM AVR 30 and ROON's MUSE DSP with my CA Edge and found both to be useful tools in some but not all scenarios.
IMHO DIRAC or comparable DSP that can process room measuments (e.g. from Room EQ Wizard) would be great, even if only available on the top classes of products. DIRAC is becoming more widely available on other manufacurers products
