HDMI Arc / Upgraded TV Mode for CX-line

Having an HDMI Arc would be helpful, I believe there are plenty of households that use an amp paired with a TV. Or perhaps it could be a part of any other CX-line devices in one of the following product revisions, i.e. CXN having the port added?
As a compromise, I'd love to my CXA to simply turn on when a signal is detected on D1/D2 inputs. That would be handy.
