Half sized Amp / CD players

I've had various Cambridge Amp's and CD players over the years and loved them all (started with Cambridge Audio A5 at uni, with Mordaunt Short signature speakers). Really appreciated the step up in performance of new generation products each time. However recently I've found myself in a much smaller room and limited "rack" space.

Initially I changed my CD player to a Rega Apolo to help squeeze it into a smaller sideboard unit (I know it's not ideal vs a hifi rack but sometimes you have to make real world considerations in family homes). It was still a tight fit so ended up swapping my CXA60 and separate phono stage for a matching Rega Brio amp. Now I have condensed two full sized separates and a phono stage into two half sized units, that take up same foot print as the Cambridge amp. It sounds fantastic to my ears, I couldn't say it was any worse / better than the Cambridge kit that it replaced so no compromise from having significantly smaller boxes - it just fits in the room better! I must confess I don't have the super sensitive ears of an audiophile, however it did take a few changes of speakers in my new smaller room to get a sound that I was happy with. Switching the amp was the last change I made, and I can say it was the easiest change that had the least impact - to my ears at least. I take that as testament to both the CXA60 and Brio being equally impressive bits of kit. I'll might upload a picture of it in the share my system section if non Cambridge system are allowed.

This might be a bit of a niche suggestion and I'm sure most will have the space to prioritise full sized kit. That being said I would now always consider smaller sized kit and seems there are a few brands out there that are doing this really well.

Is this something Cambridge would consider in the future?

Thanks!
