How to Enable Early Updates for Your Networked Players

Want to try out the latest firmware for your player before its official release? Join the StreamMagic Early Updates Community and give us valued feedback on our latest updates before they go live.

Just follow these quick steps to enable Early Updates and get started:

  1. Open the StreamMagic app on your phone/tablet.

  2. Once connected to your player, press the settings icon underneath your player name at the top of the page.

  3. In the Device Settings menu, select Early Updates and choose "On" from the menu selection.

  4. Tap Done.

Remember: Early Updates must be turned on for each device in your setup individually.

Once you’ve enabled Early Updates, your unit will notify you if a firmware update is available.

That’s it! You’re ready to explore the latest improvements. Join other users in the StreamMagic Early Updates space and give us feedback on our latest releases.

Note: By turning on Early Updates and joining the StreamMagic App Beta, you agree to receive pre-release updates for your players and apps. This may affect the performance of your devices as we ensure our latest releases are functioning as intended. It’s your feedback during this stage that helps us get it right for everyone!
