Good morning everyone. Yesterday we announce Evo 300 at High End Vienna. Our flagship streaming amplifier with more composure, scale, and control than ever before.
Evo 300 is built around a fundamentally different architecture to anything we've done in the Evo range before. Here's what you can expect:
Amplification
Dual mono architecture with 300W per channel through Hypex nCOREx modules. Each channel has its own dedicated amplification path, which means a wider, more stable soundstage and greater separation, even in complex music. It's designed to fill larger rooms and drive more demanding speakers with composure.
Pre-amplifier
Fully balanced pre-amplifier stage, running end to end. Lower noise floor, greater channel separation, and a naturally quiet background that lets more of the recording come through.
Volume control
Independent analogue volume control for left, right, and subwoofer channels, operating fully balanced. Unlike systems that rely on digital attenuation, this preserves stereo focus and low-level detail at any listening level.
DAC
Upgraded ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M. Handles up to 32-bit/768kHz PCM without any resampling. Every recording reaches the DAC exactly as it left the studio.
Power supply
Separate, dedicated PSU rather than integrated. Cleaner power delivery and greater signal integrity across the board.
Streaming
Powered by our StreamMagic Gen 4 platform, refined over more than a decade. HDMI eARC replaces ARC for proper TV audio integration. Bluetooth upgraded to 5.4 with aptX HD.
Display
7.8 inches, up from 6.8. Larger physical presence and a more immersive visual experience whether you're using album artwork or VU meters.
The result is a system that sounds more composed, more musical, and more capable than Evo 150 SE.
