I'm using the included USB-C to 3.5mm cable with my headphone amp. Can anyone explain how to ensure it's both in wired mode and playing audio properly? Thanks!

I’m assuming it has attempted to do an update and has bricked.

All the settings are correct, but we just can't get the HDMI ARC function to work. There is only one moment when we actually get sound through ARC, and that is when I unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in. An option then appears on the TV screen; if I click it, we get audio through my EVO150 (series 1) for about 15 to 20 seconds, but then it disappears again. I tried two different HDMI cables I had lying around, and eventually even bought new Oehlbach Black Magic II HDMI interconnects. Same problem.

It seems like the EVO150 and the TCL are failing to perform a proper handshake. HELP.
